I figured that everyone has a black truck(even me now) and wanting the harley version, the black and gray was the only option left for me.
Even watching the posts in this thread the pricing fluctuates wildly.

The 04 I was looking at was wedgewood blue, wasn't crazy about the color, the 05 I bought is white with the tan on the bottom. Exactly what I wanted. Now I have to work on getting it lifted.

What is a good lift for this truck? I want either 4 or 6 inch. Will a lift hurt the towing ability?

I have a 6" with dual reservoir shocks and the ride is almost OEM I have towed 13k with it hardly any body roll I love it on my 04 which is the biggest you can go with out having to replace to much of the suspension, I also wanted to clear 37s.

Thanks for all your help Chris. I can't stand the thought of a not perfect truck. The one you looked at had too many questions. How do you wear out ball joints in 38K miles? That and the dealer would not budge.

This one is perfect. Its in CT, and the guy has babied it as I would have. I am going to swing up and get it in a couple days.

Good call Brian - I didn't want to say anything before because its a personal taste thing but the black one I saw was a little on the fugly side. Being black its hard to see in the pics but the pimp kit (after market body flares) looked cheap and I agree on the ball joint issue. Also it was like pulling teeth to get the truth out of those guys - I'd much rather the one you picked.

No need to thank me, I'm happy to help - but didn't some one mention something about a Brazilian hooker in another thread?.... :drink:
