Anybody tow witha ford 150 5.4 crew cab??
 

just wanted to see other people's opinion on towing with the redesigned truck. I have an '04 150FX4 crew cab. Just got a different boat and pulls pretty decent.... :D

2006 Mark LT, three horse bumper pull trailer from WI to Fl and back, truck did OK but did use alot of fuel.

I tow a 288 approx. 7K with an 01 5.4 SC and it does o.k. gotta get a run on big hills. I wouldn't tow anything bigger than what I got..

I know a guy that towed with one..........over 200 miles! :eek: :evilb:

It towed real good too. Got about 5 mpg though. :drink:

My Cobalt (OB) weights just over 6000 + trailer and was pleasantly surprised how stable it was, have not towed on any big hills... crappy mileage I am sure.. 12mpg is starting to look good, what the hell, compared to the boat mileage, 12 is outstanding..!!

be real careful you're not surpassing the capacity of the truck, insurance companies aren't real fond of paying if you wreck truck/trailer when over weight.

No horses, just using it to move furniture and personal belongings and before anybody asked yes the inside of the trailer was steam cleaned prior to use.
