OK, really stupid ??
If a trucks maxinum capacity in towing is 10,000 lbs, is that what it can tow and not hit the ground or is that what you can tow at 65 for 300 miles? :confused:

I agree with Troutly, the other issue is that if the truck is rated to tow 10,000lbs and your rig weighs 12000lbs and you have an accident, you will be liable for a ticket and the insurance does not have to pay for your loss due to misapplication of the vehicle.(a friend of mine found out the hard way).
