Re: UD trucks????
The only reason to have a cabover is for local delivery- much better turning radius. That means usually an inexpensive, underpowered motor that won't pull at highway speeds.

We work on quite a few. I hate them for one reason, Parts. You can't get anything aftermarket so you have to pay out the A$$ for anything you need. For most models you can't even get an aftermarket oil filter. The dealers don't carry a huge parts inventory either. Everything has to be ordered with an additional freight cost. The truck looks beautiful but I would go with a c4500.

Re: UD trucks????
a c4500 is on teh table and quite frankly if i coudl find a toterhom setup on a 4500 i'd preffer that, its just happens i can get a deal on a low miles UD.
I am still thinking maybe just a crew cab 4500 might be a nice setup. Hell i've even been thinking about maybe a crew cab FL60. Right now pricewise the UD toterhome is in the lead. That is if I infact sell my dually and reaplce it witha heavier duty truck.
