i knew going in on the truck i just bought that the drivers seat bottom was flat to say the least. i knew it was going to need to be replaced ..call my local chevy dealer and was told that the lower seat (buckets) are no longer available..the trucks a 2000 2500.. 5 years out and can't get a seat cushion .. any leads would be helpfull...

Might try a different dealer unless of course you really trust this one. Less than 6 months ago I bought two 1999 Yukon heated leather seat covers from them.

salvage also. alot of low mile wrecks out there.

ebay has ALOT of stuff like that........the leather seat bottom on my 94 Sub is trashed........found a guy with the exact piece I was looking for......no problem

The 2500 used the same foam cushion as the 1500. Somebody who was very heavy sat in that seat.


Go to a junkyard and find a 2000-2002 driver chevy (can be a pickup or suv) with same trim level (cloth or leather) and buy the seat. A trim shop can swap out the foam cushion.

lucked out , found one in maryland, fitzgerald buick/ gmc special order wharehouse.

i looked on ebay , saw the leather stuff , but not what i needed...
