Trailer info needed

I own a 2000 - 38' Fastech and I am looking to buy a trailer. I am leaning towards steel painted trailer from Loadmaster out of Pt. Clinton, Ohio. Has anyone had experience with this company?

Remember...........steel will rust! Even in fresh water. Spend the extra for something else.

Look into aluminum (sp) they are the best for long lasting and lighter than steel. Drawback is they cost more. The next choise would be a galvinized trailer. Less money lasts a long time but more weight.
Mico are top line great resale. There are some off brands that will do great also. Go to www.cbpba.com and ask K2 for info on the one he bought. it was for a 34 scarab and he got a great price.
Best of luck.

I Bought A 2003 Loadmaster Aluminum Tri-axle For My 38' Donzi And I Love It. It Was My First Aluminum Trailer. I Got Tired Of Waxing The Trailers And Scrubbing If Ever Caught In The Rain. The New One Is Very Low Maintenance. I Had One Small Problem With An Axle And They Backed It Up With No Questions Asked. There Are 2 Loadmaster Trailer Companies, The One I Used Is Out Of Florida For The Aluminum Trailers. E-mail Me If You Can Not Get The Number. I Bought Mine Out Of Loto For Around 7k.

I have a Loadmaster and love it. I bought it new in 01 and it still looks new. I have stuck it in salt twice each winter and I just wash it down after I pull it out. You could not find a spot of rust on it if you tried. The thing pulls great and it's easy to get on and off of. I am not about to say it's the best trailer out there but for the money it's a great trailer. I thought about a Myco but it was half again as much and I just could not see spending it. I will have to admit that the Myco will have a better resale if that is a concern.

Fastload out of FL. Aluminum with all Stainless Steel hardware (even the disc brakes) and Torsion axles. Great trailer for the money. (Yes, Myco makes a better trailer but at X2 the price I'm happy with my decision)

I am very happy with an 3 axle, torsion, disc brake aluminum trailer for a 10k + lb load.
The company that I bought the trailer from (in TX) I have been trying to get ahold of to upgrade a bunch of parts (more brakes, bunks, stops, lights etc) but have not received any phone calls back so I will not endorse them- in fact I feel like slamming them, but I will reserve my anger (for now).
However in my quest to spend more money on upgrades I can tell you that I have been very impressed with the following trailer companies that are very responsive, professional and it has been a joy to give them my money to for quality parts in return.

Very good service AND quality parts awards in my experience has been:

-Ron Manning of Manning Trailers @ 616 784 2228 in MI.
&
JP @ Loadmaster Trailers in Tampa @ 813 689 3096

I bought a Steel Tri-Axle from Loadmaster in Port Clinton Ohio in 2002 to go under a 31 Cigarette.

I was happy from the order to the pickup in working with them.

The trailer was solid and felt sturdy when towing.

The couple of years I had it with no problems but I used in freshwater.

I now have a different boat with a 2001 Fastload aluminum trailer that was used in Saltwater and you can tell. I have tried to contact the company a few times via email and phone about replacement parts but they do not return my calls.
I do not like the bunk system on these trailers.

Good luck.
