Reset codes on Dodge Ram?

I had some work done to the navigation system on my Ram. Afterwards the power locks would not work. I checked the fuses, they are fine. From what I have gathered they may have set off a code, and it just needs to be reset. My question is do I just have to disconnect the battery for a short period of time? Also is there a way to check the codes,without a scanner, like some of the other dodges? The truck is an 05 diesel Ram. Thanks for any help.

Check for codes by turning the ignition on and off, three times in succession.

The codes will show up in the odometer.

You should be able to disconnect battery for 2 min to clear codes.

Hold Od Reset While Turning On The Acc This Will Give You The Code.
