hey bottomfeeder, did you change your gears or did you leave them alone, I changed them on my 04 and I liked the way it ran better.

No, didnt really want to go there,FYI if your going to tow much of any size, I wouldnt go this high or this large of tire, WANDER and no stoppee, 35's and a 4.5 lift is all I'd go,,,my .02

what fabtech kit did you go with, i would like to have the 37s look, but affraid of how it would pull 37' 5th wheel toy hauler. so im sort of leaning towards 4" w 35s, even though i see 7s x 37s doing it all the time. what do you guys think?HIMES

6" Superlift with Bilstien shocks. 4:56 gears. D rated 36x15.50 Mickey Thompsons on 18 inch wheels.

Tows a 38' steel triple axle Myco with a Gladiator on it wonderfully

the trailer is 16k when fully loaded.

Re: best 7" lift for 06 PSD

2112 nice truck, i always hear good compliments about Bilstein shocks. So how much does boat and trailer weigh full of fuel?

Re: best 7" lift for 06 PSD

I believe the trailer is #3500 and the boat, wet, is close to #9000

Re: best 7" lift for 06 PSD

Oh Yeah, the 4:56 gears are the best $$ spent. 6.0 like more RPM than the 7.3L

Might take a look at this thread. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...d.php?t=106870

Why 7"? Seems like an odd number. 6" or 8" are the more common choices.

Re: best 7" lift for 06 PSD

i would rather go 6" than 7, if the 37s will fit. The guy i talked to from a shop DSI who lifts them for the dealerships is pushing the 7" lift. Himes
