2006 DMAX Leveling Kit-Cognito

Has anybody used this kit to properly raise the front end of a 2500HD, does any OSOer sell it?

I have the torsion key lift and I have been very happy. It even drives better than stock.

Like Ben says. Just turn it up.
I didn't change keys or anything... Just turned the screw in. I got 1.25" of lift, and there is more in there. I am sure I could get another 3/4" if needed.

The Cognito is new upper control arms that allow you to run the adjustment all the way up without stressing the outer ball joint in the arm....
If you want 2+" go Cognito and start taking the thing apart... or crank the screw in, allign it and off you go.

I run 285/75- 16s on the stock wheel.

Oh, and you'll need longer shocks, or you'll pull the eye off the end when you top them out. Mine are Bilsteins.

Tim,
How do you like your Bilsteins? I am looking for new shocks and my brother put Bilsteins on his Dodge 2500 and it said that he noticed no difference. I am considering Rancho 9000's for their ability to be adjustable. Oh and my torsion bars aren't cranked up. Actually the torsion keys in the kit are torsion keys from a Ford F-250/350 which are the same key as a GM but the hex pattern is turned at a different angle so when you install them, it equals 2" higher. The Torsion bars are at the same tension. I did get it aligned too.

Thanks, Ben

Yep-
I'd go with Ranchos. I had them on my last truck.
These Bilstiens are definately better than stock, but I would want a stiffer ride....
I had RS 5000s before.
But I think the Rancho was too short as a stock application and their long shock is for 4+ inch lifts.....

Yes I was afraid of that with Rancho. They only make a 4" kit for the GM's. Hopefully they would have something that would work in the 9000's.

I have the adjustable keys in my truck (01 3500 4x4) and am happy with it. I am clearing 255/85's (same height as 285s but narrower). I have a heavy winch and brush guard, so the stock keys were maxed out just to keep it at stock height. So far I have 15k on it and all is well. I did have it aligned afterward. Only down side is that I don't have much down travel, but it is only noticable off-road with a heavy trailer.

I have heard that the F-150 keys can be used to level the chevys.... but the keys that I got had a greater amount of adjustability.
