Vettes win GT1 5 out of 6 years at Lemans!
 

"Thanks to Chivey", said one of their international drivers "the car was viry stron and vee had no problems with it all day."

Pretty cool that Max Pappis and Ron Fellows were sharing driving duties on one of the team cars.

Other than a large rear spoiler, the cars looked like a standard Z06. Awesome job folks, congrats to the drivers, entire Chevy team and GM employees!

I'm proud to say that my employer Katech, is the sole engine builder for those C6R and C5R Corvettes that run at LeMans each year. GM Racing spends a ton of time and money making those programs as flawless as they are and it really is a privilege to be a part of it all. Pratt & Miller builds a phenomenal chassis and we like to think that we build some great engines for them as well.

The GM / Corvette racing program is an absolute top-notch operation, no doubt. :cool:
