Aluminum is preferred, but steel would work for the right $$. The fifth wheel is not preferred, since I don't have a 5th wheel in the new truck. :cool:

Dean, I was thinking about selling my trailer under the formula. triple steel white with tool boxes electric over hydraulic 6 new tires,bearings brakes ect. It is set up for v bottom but it works fine for me.I believe it can be modified slightly for you.2001 vip from arizona Built real well $4,500.00
