Ill give you $1 for it......

If MSRP is 166195 then anything over 100 should get it :D . I hear the people who have them are not all that happy with em...

Looks mean. I saw one around here not too long ago and thought to myself, what the hell is that thing doing around here? :evilb: I can't imagine it rides that well on our dirt roads and countless pot holes.

My dealer has one- he has $50K "market adjustment" added on to the sticker. It was good for a laugh.

When they came out, they were hot and bringing 100k over. now your lucky to get invoice for them. A guy i know with a ford dealership had trouble getting rid of his. it was an 05, but after they recalled them they added like 8-10k to the sticker price. i told him he should have presold it.

I like the "market adjustment" One of the local GM dealers had that on a ZO6 that I wanted a few years ago. I showed him that I could actually get it under invoice from a dealer in NJ. The wouldn't budge though. So the wife and I jumped on a plane, saved lots on buying the car and hit Atlantic City.

I know a guy who has one and hates it. Says its the biggest POS he has ever had in an "exotic" car.

I would take it but not for the "market Adjustment" If they priced them to compete with the Z06 then they would sell more of them.

I must be stupid, whats "market adjustment" Dealers mark up the price because thats what the cars are going for elsewhere?

yep, very common for the high end market cars. anything over MSRP is a market adjustment....

Also a big thing on limited production cars. I bought my wife a 30th anniversary Trans Am convertible for her 30th birthday and they tried to add 5K market adjustment. I fought it and got them to drop it but I still paid sticker for the car. They can do this because if you don't buy it, there are 20 people waiting for the car.

Remember back when the Acura NSX came out? Those things had like a $50K or more adjustment.

.

Worked at a factory owned Mercedes dealership on SL's we held people at sticker or better, Mercedes thought that for everyone that would'nt pay 20 more would, so no deals!

My Dad was waiting for my Mom's car and ended up walking around the auto mall. The Mazda dealer has a big poster display of the Miata, decided that I would like it and not only paid the adjustment, he wanted to be on top of the waiting list so he gave even more. I was glad that it was a hot seller because the adjustment gave me enough to trade it on a Vette and get cash back..... :evilb:

Nice car, but i was a the ford dealership yesterday and they had 2 of them, both were priced at $300,000, i almost fell in the floor. they said it had $159000.00 worth of options. I said this isn't no damn offshore boat.

Ford trying to build an Exotic car just does not seem to cut it.

Re: Just Came In The Show Room

Mike if Ford wants to build one they can get it done. /remember the GT40 that won it all in the 60's. But Ford also said that the MSRP should be 135.000, then the car would be priced right.
