What's the going rate per mile for transport?
Need to move a boat & deciding if I'm going to do it myself or pay-I know it used to be about $1.25/mile a while ago-I'm sure w/ gas prices up so is the cost to transport

Had one hauled 6 weeks ago. Tried to get a guy who was $2.00/mile but that was only if he could arrange a backhaul. Paid $2.50 but had the boat here less than 48 hours after the call. (arrived 6 days after I found it for sale)
I know of someone else that paid the same thing a week later.

I figured $2-2.50- For about $3,500 (Detroit to Miami) looks like I'll be doing some driving-Gotta save now where I can after spending what I spent on the boat

FastFranko, I own JB Transport out of Athens Tn. I would be glad to transport your boat on its own trailer for $2350.00. My busy time starts in October so i'm a little slow this month, and could get to it whenever you want. e-mail me [email protected].
