Re: GM's new HD pickups Pics and specs

I went to the Miami Auto Show and saw the new GMC/ Chevy trucks. I have owned 6 new GM's and never a Ford or Dodge but the new GM's are a disgrace. The interior door handles are made of a rubber similar to a basketball's texture which ought to be great after 6 months of use. What do your hands smell like after playing basketball for a few minutes? The front ends are 100% Ford Superduty and the POS 6.0 motor is now standard in place of the 5.3 which was much smoother/ faster with better economy. I think I will hold onto my 03 2500 Crew Duramax for a while longer.

The other big rip offs at the show were the 07 Lexus LS 460 (complete splash of the 7 series BMW) and the 07 S550 Benz was an interior copy of the 7 series (I drive system, transmission shift on column).

Dodge Mega Cab Cummins Dually should be the best 1 ton boat tow rig out there if they fixed the transmission woes.

Think the front chrome pieces are big enough?

I wonder if that is a protype or production model? That is the most butt arse ugly thing there could be,looks like a cross between a ford sd and a nissan or toyota or something,Smitty

I'm still waiting to see if Face and Murdock are going to hit a button causing those cobbled on chrome flaps that B.A.Baracus bolted on in a old barn to flip down and expose the rocket launchers and homeade machine guns to pop out to mow down there opposition :evilb:

glad I swapped the 04.5 (LLY) for the '06 (LBZ) instead of waiting for the new truck. My current ride is much better looking.

plus - all the new pollution sh!t that'll be on the D'Max now (LMM)

And Chevy has done the impossible.....Made the front even uglier ! :D

That can't be the front of the HD's. That has to be a joke. Looks like I'll be going with the GMC! Either that or tint the windows so dark that no one could see me.

Same front, but all the pics I have seen have those pieces painted body color, looks much better. Maybe it's some SEMA stuff or a chrome package, still prefer the GMC either way
