Re: What do you guys think it's worth?
problems you will run into is in 06 the much more powerful motor came out and someone spending that much might want an LT instead. plus you have to find someone with a HUGE down payment or a cash buyer because of the book value the bank will look at

Re: What do you guys think it's worth?
if you can get 35k for it right now take it... trucks like that would be low 30's here in the midwest... the lack of leather is a big deal to most i would think....

Re: What do you guys think it's worth?
I have the same truck, but with a 6.0L. Cognito 7-9" Lift, 37" Toyo's, and a few other add-ons. I've had it for sale for 3 months for $28,500, then $20K opening bid on ebay and no bids.
Good luck, but you'll be lucky to get anything over $32K |
Re: What do you guys think it's worth?
Thanks for the input guys.
I didn't get leather because it get's too hot where I live (100 degrees) in the summer and Lake Havasu gets very hot (120 degress), so I skipped the leather. Leather gets way too hot for these temperatures, and it's not very good quality leather anyway. Packinair....where did you get those values from? I got values that are higher through Kbb.com. I selected "private party value" and good condidtion, although I personally think it's in excellent condition. I used my home zip code-- 92592 $32,490....This is just for the truck. I have at least another $16K into it, I would hope I could get close to half that back to be reasonable. Condition Value Excellent $34,425 Good $32,490 (Selected) Fair $29,930 |
Re: What do you guys think it's worth?
What if you kept some of the extras you have on it (like the alarm, the navigation and electronics stuff, etc) and put the stock parts back in? That way you could either re-use the fancy stuff on your next vehicle or sell that stuff seperately and not take such a bath trying to sell everything all in one shot. If nobody will pay for the extra's, why give 'em to them? Possible?

HayJay You have a very good point. I can only take out about half of the stuff, some of it is permanent (Line-x for example). I guess I will just keep the truck and be happy with it. I really like the bouncing juggs..they are very nice :D |

Re: What do you guys think it's worth?
without the add-ons that truck does 27-28K wholesale...if your looking to sell i would price at $36-37k and see what kind of response you get...needs to be an SLT to really do the numbers...SLT's are selling for $4-5k more wholesale at the auction. she is a pretty SOB

More demand for trucks in those places so they might be willing to give more cause they can sell it faster, in around LA its the opposite....... |
