This truck I use for 12k and under applications, and I should say 10k and under, the suspension, while being smoother is no way capable of pulling the 16k (Nortech) like the Ford. Jeff,mines a srw and I agree completely,when I had a ford powerstroke with a blown up trans on my trailer (roughly 10,000 lbs between the trailer w/truck on it) behind my truck it pulled it ok but not great, it felt like if you added another 6000lbs you would get into trouble quick if things got ugly,Smitty
