Re: Dually's.....6 ft vs 8 ft bed
Sydwayz,
Ford changed to Coil spring front in 05(I had an 04 F250 Harley Edition with a 4" lift and 365/60r16 toyo ATs) The turning radius/ride were the big reasons that I traded trucks for my 06. |
Re: Dually's.....6 ft vs 8 ft bed
Brentzwheels makes direct bolt on 19.5s as well. Perhaps they are priced as such you don't have to give up a summer of boating as you would with his 22.5s. :D :D

Sydwayz, the 22.5s were an expensive mistake.

You are trying to rotate so many individual pieces of material, and none of them are properly balanced when put together. I wonder if it would significantly improve things if you had direct bolt on 22.5s from Brentz. Rickson has been promising these for a couple years as well. Also, I think there would be a market for dually adapters that bolted directly to your hub, and went right into a 10-bolt wheel. |
Re: Dually's.....6 ft vs 8 ft bed
Sydwayz,
Brentz wheels when I talked to them didn't have a direct bolt on 22.5, all they had was the direct fit 19.5s which is the direction I'm going in now, but I'm going to stay with Michelin tires. Do you happen to know anyone that has tried the Michelin XDE's instead of the xze's? |
Re: Dually's.....6 ft vs 8 ft bed
My buddy's 2004 long bed f350 crewcab dually pwrstrk was a great tow vehicle until he lifted it and put on 22.5's now it is bouncy and tows like crap especially with a light load (such as our 4 place snowmobile trailer). i preferred its towing comfort and ability much better when it was stock. hammer
