...at least you didn't fall out of the truck and run over yourself!

my 2 sons first drivers are lifted 1 a 98 ext cab w/ 6inch pro comp w/ 3inch body lift and 39 superswamppers, the other is a 93 2dr yukon w/ a 6inch lift,3body and 39boggers w/5.13gears. i would rather have them ran underneath than ran directly in the door in a accident. my ride is a 02 2500hd c.c with a 6inch trailmaster lift 20in rims a 35inch tires

Wow, those some big trucks. I drove through choctaw on way to and from Houston TX. Beautiful area. Lots of water.

Thanks, It was a sweet ride. Dana 60, 5:89 's,Locker, TCI 400 Trans, 500 hp Big Block. That pic was with the 40's, I later went on to 44's with a custom 15/14 8 lug wheels. I had abou 21" of lift......then (3) trees got in my way and I totaled it. :(

I would rather have a lifted truck than a stock truck for handling any day !!!! No body roll and better handling. I'm not talking about your just add blocks and a body lift and run, but a real suspension lift done correctly. I have been lifting trucks and jeeps for over 20 years and the only problems I have ever seen are the guys who don't want to spend their money to do it the correct way.

I guess it runs in the family.....Here's my son's Jeep. Can you do this with stock suspension????? :drink: Dave

Teach me wise-ones
Flame-on :evilb:

Sounds more like the trouble with attorneys. A factory full size 4x4 against a Carrera , head on , is no fair battle. Depending on speed , is still liable to go half way over the Carrera and still inflict massive injury :(

BTW my F350 is DOWN 2" , so I'm not defending them just because I have one :D

Re: WHY does one 'jack-up' their truck?

I lifted/leveled mine because its what I've always wanted. Since I was in 8th - 9th grade I've wanted a lifted truck. I used my brain and did lots of research and came up with what I thought was reasonable and safe that would still allow me to pull any load I choose.
