Would you use an aluminum ball mount?

I'm not sure what catches my fancy more, the aluminum material or the integral lock.

Looks cool. Worth a try for the price.

I've seen it in person and although it looks nice, the problem is the size shank of the ball - I think it's too small to fit a 2 5/16" ball. At least that's what the guy told me who sells them where I was looking at them.

I was getting ready to suggest those.

I have used the Alumistinger products for the last few years and have been very happy with them. I am going to order one of the rapid hitches as well.

If its a 1.25" shank it is the real deal. My 2" ball in a 1.25" shank is rated to 12k towing and 1200 tongue. The same ball in 1" shank is 6k towing and 600 tongue.

Doesnt aluminum usually just break and not bend.....not sure if i like that.

Been using and selling the ball mount like the one in haulinvols post for about three years now. Great product. I sell more of them than I do regular ball mounts.
