Forgot about the MAF sensor consulted Excellance magazine tech guru Bruce Anderson q&a section. Latter Carrera 3.2L's have a MAF upgrade kit to work with K&N, etc. He said on the dyno though you only pick up a few extra HP.

Still dont think its worth doing potential screwing up your car for even 20 extra hp's. Hence why I've decided to go ahead and have my mechanic/engine builder do this:

Next-step supercharger. Nice thing about Porsche more with 911's their motors are detuned at the factory. So they can be safely bumped up and reliable as well.
