If your engine is stock its a waste of time. My lattest 928 has it, but it's chipped, no mufflers and no cats. It's in the shop cause I want a more power and will ad a supercharger in the next year or so. If it was stock would not bother with K&N cold kit on it, do anything like whats done with my car today then you need better then stock air flow.

It can upset your MAF sensor and doesn't add much in my opinion. There are better options than K&N in any case.

Thanks for the feedback, Joe Still dont think its worth doing potential screwing up your car for even 20 extra hp's. Hence why I've decided to go ahead and have my mechanic/engine builder do this: http://www.928developments.com/64L_engine_build.htm Next-step supercharger. Nice thing about Porsche more with 911's their motors are detuned at the factory. So they can be safely bumped up and reliable as well. |
