Has Sunoco race gas changed?
 

I was down at Homestead (speedway) and noticed the octane ratings are now 98 & 112 for their unleaded & leaded. They used to be 100 & 114. Have they changed the rating method or the gas? Does this stuff have ethanol in it now?

I'll have to ask my dealer. I use to buy 100 for my cars

the purple leaded 112 is the spec fuel for nascar now. I used to run the 110 leaded in my f2000 car they sold at the track but had to switch over to the 112 as several of the track i run at are nascar owned/operated so they only have thier spec fuels.

coem to think of it i think it might be blue now.
