My girlfriend picked up a 1998 MB C280 Sport. Its in immaculate condition with 120K miles on it.

Does this thing need premium fuel? I do not have any German car experience. Thanks in advance.

Don't know about the premium fuel but what do you say we put a class v hitch on it just for good measures:evilb: :drink:

You can run 89 but you will get worse fuel mileage.

NONONONONONONONO! That is one of the biggest scams out there. My wife's 04 Audi A8L ran fine on 87 fpr the whole 48K miles I had it and even Car & Driver ran an M3 on 87 for a test, it lost 8% of its peak HP. Unless it pings under hard acceleration it can run on 87.

That MB with 120K will need plenty of things in the future but premium fuel isn't one of them.
