Hey Cory, Where did you put the spacers? Under the front coils? We took Dave's out and that helped for awhile but it's back. Rich get back from Detroit? Talk with you soon, Dave

We used to have a CJ7 with a 4in spring under lift with 33in tires that had that wobble. The steering tie rod was at too high of an angle. This can be changed by a drop pitman arm and changing the mounting point of the steering rod. I cured it by using weld in inserts that flip both the tie rods, so they attach to the top of the knuckle instead of the bottom. This link below takes you to the place where I bought the inserts. it is a simple insert that cured our wabble. Cheap parts, a little sweaty labor, but keeps it out of the rocks. they also have a huge tie rod if you want a sturdier one. I got one and it's solid.

And that pic was taken at Sam's in Tulsa. I think we have been on some of the same runs together. Good looking Scrambler. My YJ. I have a 305, 700, 231 with 4.11 and Detroits on 36" IROKS.

Yeah that jeep looks so familiar. I haven't been out in a while. When is the next scheduled run. I like clayton, its about the only place I've been. Would like to go somewhere else too. I don't have any close friends that have a vehicle so I'm pretty much on my own. Let me know if you have any events coming up.

During the summer the Jeep gets put away for the boat but we usually do a trip or two to clayton in the fall and a trip to Hot Springs in the early spring. Here is a friend of mines Jeep that most people around here know.

It is an 84 CJ with a stretched YJ tub and shortened Scrambler frame.

Nice to see some other jeep guys on here. Nothing like multiple EXTREMELY expensive hobbies. I don't have any good trail pics on my work computer but here is a driveway poser shot.

I think there are a few of us on here that are mentally challenged enough to have more hobbies than we can afford.

Jeeps are CHEEP compared to these boats though.

No chit. I spent more in oil changes and gas in this boat than I have since I built my jeep. I can't wait to go out in the jeep again.
