South Florida Trailers

I am considering buying a South Florida Trailer and was wondering if anyone had any positive or negative input on the manufacturer. Thanks.

I have a couple friends with them They appear to be nice trailers, and I have not heard any complaints about them. Personally, I don not like the vertical support that they use for the bow/winch stand. It looks goofy, and is not really adjustable if needed.

I have one under my PowerPlay. Like Sydwayz says it has a vertical bow support which seems a bit strange but I've not had an issue with it. I did find that the boat didn't center the stern easily and I got a couple of small guide-on side bunks to solve that problem. It also has two wheels per side for a 33' boat instead of three and they use drum brakes instead of disc. I replaced mine with new galvanized brakes last year. Overall a decent trailer and it's served me well so far.

My brother has one for his 22 Donzi. Nice trailer. He upgraded the brakes to disc. Other than that, he's had it for 6-7 years and it still works and looks new.

I tried to buy one. The factory wanted 50% upfront and a 6 week delivery. I called Nextrail in Ocala. They built same spec trailer, no deposit and I had a guy pick it up 3 days later.

3 years later it has been a great trailer.
