I am a Chevy guy deep down. I have owned 2 PSD, a 99 F250 7.3 and a 04 F350 6.0. Both were pretty good trucks. I really like the fit and finish on the Chevy interiors better. The new Chevys are fugly in my opinion. My next truck will be a late model Chevy, old body style or a F 350 with a 6.4.. I have never really care much for any Mopars.

I don't know about the 07's but my buddy's stock 06 (as was his 02) is so loud that you have to shut it down at the drive thru to order. I have a Duramax and it is as quiet as a gasser.

Dodge has a good engine in a toilet of a truck. The interior is still very cheap made. Or maybe it just looks and feels cheap. I find that the trucks rattle alot. I have driven all three, and I prefer the Ford. Fuel mileage sucks, but I just installed an Edge performance box, and the truck is now getting 3 mpg better as of the first week of driving.

If Ford was ever able to offer the cummings diesel in their super duty trucks, Dodge would be out of business. I was told that Ford owns Cummings, but Dodge has a long term contract with Cummings. I don't know how true this is, it is just rumor.

[QUOTE=Jupiter Sunsation;2247045]I don't mind the Dodge trucks but the interiors suck!

I agree, the inside is very cheesy, I almost bought one but that turned me off. So now I am a Ford customer and absolutely love my 06 Super Duty 250 Diesel Crew Cab.

We have two duramax diesel trucks on the farm and a 2004 Dodge Ram cummins. The only thing that has ever given us trouble is the ash tray, it broke and was covered under warranty. Right now it has 112,000 miles and the only service work done to it was regular service stuff, no problems, no let downs. I am in and out of these trucks daily, the GMC and chevy duras have cheap leather interiors, they are a year old now and look like as if they are worn out, already cracked up and split. I could understand it if I was 300# fat guy, but thats not the case. These trucks are used on a good routine of towing equipment, and such. The Cummins is the way to go in diesel trucks, best all around in my opinion. The GMs interior rattles and is cheaply made, but about all of them are also. If you want a truck to handle the abuse, buy a cummins......if you want to build a fast diesel truck with tons of torque, buy a cummins.......if you just want a diesel to ride, buy a cheap duracrap. I've got two years left on both of mine, and they will be replaced with CTD mega cab trucks, the only way to go!

Yeah, between GMC & Dodge.....but If you want the best you need a FORD.
BTW Ford has sold more diesel trucks since 1997 than GMC, Chevy & Dodge combined....there could be a reason. Just a thought.
