Goose neck equipment trailers????
Looking for a goose neck / flat bed equipment trailer. Do they make them over 40 ft? Help.
|
Yes, look on truckpaper.com
They have a huge national listing of commercial trucks and trailers with a very wide range of brands and prices. |
My friend just sold a 45 footer, originated in Oklahoma I think.
|
45 foot hot shot / goose / flats are hard to find. I can't find any at all on the net. I looked on truck paper.
|
Call my friend Kevin at OK truck and trailer 405-232-1200 his dad Joe can help but me and Kevin went to school together. If you need it looked at or whatever I am only 20 minutes from the yard as well tell them John Dryski told you to call.

10-4 JD.......I've been looking all night....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
|
If that doesn't work, try truck paper.com and go to detailed search under trailers. Choose drop deck and leave everything else open. There are several that are there (may require fifth wheel to gooseneck adaptor - Several companies make these). Sorry if you've already tried this.

Here's another option to consider: www.heftyproducts.com
I bought my 40' flatbed from them and am very happy with it. They are the actual manufacturer, so buying from them direct gets you a better price. They will build anything you'd like. I payed $10,250 for mine FULLY equipped and it was built in less than a month. Everyone else I checked with wanted $12k or more for a lesser equipped unit and they needed two months or more to have it ready. I've looked at a lot of trailers out there and honestly, I think Hefty makes one of the best you'll find. They're shop is located just west of Paris, TX. |
I have a 40' pro-trak....Though i don't remember now if it is 35' deck with 5' dove or 40' deck with 5' dove. It's a big trailer and I can fit a dodge extand cab short bed and ford long bed crew cab on it with no problem...drive up fold ramps up and drive the last truck back over the ramps. I haven't had any problem with my pro-trak in the last 7 years. They might be a good place to look too. I tell ya mine is solid....it has huge round beams runing every 5 feet of the trailer back...hardly any roll with it, had another one before this one that was a 40' deck (not sure of the manufacture) with no dove and boy would it scare you in off camber situations...but not with my new one...

I see 40's everywhere , can't find a 45 flat...I need 45 feet of floor space.
Another question if yall could help: What would my F350 Powerstroke dually pull / stop? I know it pulled our 38 TS Cig very comfortably (13,200 lbs not including trailer). THANKS FOR ALL OF THE HELP. |
How heavy do you need? I have a 38' open flatbed 2 car trailer with dove tail and ramps I may be selling. Tag, not gooseneck.
|
Need a gooseneck w/ 45 ft of floor space. I think Featherlite makes a 45 but can't find one.
|
Ok getting closer...........love the insert between the ramps to turn this 45 footer to a true 45 ft of floor space.

Elite built our 45' trailer.. Good deal, its more trailer than our trucks can pull which is nice if we ever get out of medium duty trucks. had a triple axle single wheel 40'er and it was a pain.. went to tandem dually with an insert between the foldup ramps and a full cage built in on either side to strap containers too...
