Ok #3000 thanks Red Dog well 12,500 with boat .. :cool-smiley-011: What to do What to do ..

Well, all that's going to put you over the limit.
Also remember 9500# is the boat's dry weight. Add 894# for 149gals of fuel, 152# for 19gal of water, and another 500# for miscellaneous stuff. That's over 14K#, you're only good for 12.5K#. That's a no-go. |
CIGDAZE- Any suggestions .. You mention the 15,000 lb hitch , and also stabilizing with air bags, adding a nother over load leaf spring .The 35' is the boat !!! . So theres got to be a package that will get me what I need . Can't see buying a Dually l for a nother 1500# ?? :ernaehrung004:

Good points but a correction on the Putnam rating. Unless yours is different then mine (I have a 06) 15k weight carry 16k weight dist.
I have a 06-F250 Diesel Super Duty I added air bags and changed my hitch to the Putnam and upgraded the receiver & ball. I pull a 382 on a Manning trailer tri-axle disc brakes and it pull and stops it with no problems. If set up correctly you will be good to go. |
J.B. THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT !! I was talking to my friend at Ford this morning, the guy that sold me my truck he also has a 6.0 super duty and was telling me the difference between f250s f350s and what there designed for and if set up right, there made to do exactly this J.B. thanks Ill be changing my hitch and receiver + ball air bags too !!
