Stick with factory ford's I have tried them all and they are the best stopping, quietest, and least brake dust.

Smile My 5 cents

I agree with rbr2328, I put OEM pads back on the front of my 2001 Crew Cab. Went to the Ford Dealership and was pleasantly surprised to find the pads for the front were only $59.00. My dealer said the same thing, many people purchase aftermarket pads and are severely disapointed with their performance. The only pads I've heard good about are PBR pads, which were the stock pads and calipers used on my SVT Cobra. Hope this helps you, Nick

Not recommending this particular vendor, or even this brand, just saying.....

I have a Pac Brake on my 06 Dodge, I won't own a diesel truck without from now on. In most situations, I barely even have to TOUCH my brakes. Loaded with our boat (~10K), I can run it down from 60 to about 35 in 75 yards or so (again, no brakes).

I know someone who just changed their OEM pads with 175K miles on the odometer, no joke.

I just put performance friction pads all the way around on my navigator and they suck. The factory brakes stopped better.

I've been using the EBC greens and I've noticed an increase in stopping ability. Also, the brake dust problems went almost completely away.

I was buying Ford rotors but they would wear and warp pretty quickly. I went to cheapo Advance Chinese rotors and have had zero problems since.

I got around 110,000 miles on the original brakes on my F 250 I doubt you could get that out of any aftermarket pads. Why change?

Surprised to hear people getting that long. SD rotors are popular for warping.

Put Power Slots and Hawk pads on and much better!
