Default Face lift for my truck.

Well I recently put a face lift on my 04 F 350 4x4 PSD. Before it was a stock truck with a airbags in the rear. It sat pretty low in the front. It needed a little help to get it to the next level. I installed a Edge chip for little extra go go and to help with towing, not that it didn't tow prefectly already. I then put a rough country 2" leveling kit, to lift the front end even with the back. Last but not least, I put some Moto Metal 956 20" rims and some new rubber on her. Here are some before and after pics. What do you think? I am very pleased how it turned out, I couldn't be happier.

Looks good! Thats one of my favorite color schemes on a SD.

Have you considered switching to the 05 front?

One of the best upgrades I did. Mostly the much improved 05 headlights.

Andy, the truck looks great.

Russ,
You want to go with 19.5 direct bolt ons from Rickson, Driv, American Force, or Brentz. Don't go for the 22.5/adapters.

Put 20's on mine 2 years ago. Love the ride and handling. they come off in the winter for a more aggressive tread. Also added an '06 grill too

Thanks guys,

I am runing 305 60 R20's. What are mine options for the grills? I like the newer super duty grills as well as the billet, but I would like to keep the Ford emblem.

Thanks,

Andy

Andy,

Check out www.stylinconcepts.com
They just came out with a billet grill with two big driving lights mounted in the center.

I bought my new style front end for my 2000 F-350 on eBay. The 2006 front end has a different bumper than your truck. The corners under the grill are rounded on yours, and more angled/squared on the '06 style. Hence, the new OE grill will not fit right. There is a guy on eBay that sells the new OE grills custom CNC cut to fit the older trucks with the older bumpers. I also bought projector beam headlights with a built in fog light, and put my own relays in so I can run the headlights, brights, and fogs all at the same time when I chose.

There are also some really cool LED one piece lights that I believe Stylin carries as well.

Next step for mine is removing the badges on the side, and I have something in mind for that area too.

Not to be the bearer of bad tidings, but...

The MotoMetal wheels likely don't match the OEM load rating. Virtually none of the Wheelpros wheels do. I'd suggest you check for yourself and be aware of those limitations before hooking anything heavy to it. I've seen the wheels pop a center out before and there have been similar posts in this forum as well.
