Ive had 4 of them, never got near that mileage, be nice if I could..actually at 70 I get 16.5-17. in my 07. That's with Edge set on 2, intake, turbo back exhaust, but no lid. Like I explained above, the Duramax gets .8 better than my 07 Ford's diesel driving side by side. Both are dually's. When pulling loads it is closer. Jeff

You better call the Guiness Book of World Records with that claim! If this really happened with a short bed you have a 26 gallon tank and you would have about a 572 mile range. I have a 2500 CC 2 WD that has NEVER gotten over 425 miles per tank. The best I ever saw was driving home from dealer with NOTHING in the truck except paperwork, driving conservatively I got 17 on a 400 mile trip.

Jassman's post is closer to real world for my truck.

Very sharp ride but dealers are knocking 10K off the new ones now with the $3500 incentives from GM and the fact they have several 07's still on the lot unsold.

Yeah, but the rims and tires were 5k.Also, I can say I sold it for $1.00 since it's paid for. That will save 4k more in tax. BTW,u are absolutely right about the mileage,17mpg at best.

Truck is bangin, for $1 I'M IN!

I want a dually but my homeowner's prohibits anything bigger than a 1500 which is why my 2500 HD CC has 1500HD emblems on the doors! About once a month someone will stop me and ask if they make a 1500 diesel now. I tell them yeah, special order you have to really hassle the salesmen to order it.

I want a dually but the DRW would prevent my emblem switching from working!

No boats over 31 either in the storage area either, so my 32 Sunsation was listed as a 28. Funny how it sticks way out in front of other, bigger boats! :D It is 38 from the props to the trailer tongue. Rules are made to be broken!

the one dollar tax works until someone does an audit or see's that it can't be. also you can buy those rims and tires for 3500

bgchuby01 12-30-2007 10:42 AM

you can buy bran new firestone 575's in your size for 230 per tire and you can get new alcoa take offs for a couple hundred each if you look. I don't know the cost of the adapters to make them fit. Personally I don't recommend adapters with a large boat due to the weight.
