Good luck with the ford, its a great truck. I love my 2000 7.3. Did you have a chip in your old one? If not, then I understand why you didn't like it. These engines need a programmer, then they are great.
I wish ford had a good current model engine. The duramax is king right now, too bad its in a lowered truck...

I still regret the day I traded my '04 2500 HD Duramax and went back to gas.
