Like I said, I don't know my stringer from my a-hole, so I have no business commenting on what's good or not. :D Most of what I know is just what I've seen on other setups. But I'd guess Myco for example, would build their cradle-style such that one set of bunks would be inside instead of outside that strake. Hmmm...I just re-read one of your posts...if the stringer is just outside the strake, then that's a very strong area right? That should be the best place then?

Either way, get 'er done so we can see running shots!

The left photo of handfulz above would be proper bunk placement. It will also help to center the boat up as it settles in off the ramp.

I agree with piratemarine . Plus if you place a bunk out side the strake you will end up chewing the edge of the chine. Dont use the chine edge to center boat.

It would be out about 4" or 5" from the lifting strake. If I was to put it that far in then it would be so close the the middle of the boat I think it would be unstable.
