Cadillac STS CTS
Looking at spending 20k for a used one. Any opinions, are they decent cars? thanks
|
My mom had one and drove it for a 1.5 years, it lost about $12K in value with 6k miles on it. Never had a problem with it, its just the base model, and most folks know that, so it cheaps out on several features.

I HAVE THE STS BUT WITH THE V6 NOT THE V8. I LOVE THE CAR BUT DEF NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID. IF UR BUYING USED U CAN NOT GO WRONG. GREAT CAR NEVER 1 PROBLEM. DEF NOT LIKE A CADDY THO. (to small bring back the long ass boats)

Bought a 2005 STS for 21k. V-6 and 24,000mi. Hope it fares well. thanks

Depends on options, you might have done decent. Caddys have typically taken a beating on resale about as worse as anything made, they all depreciate fast, but caddy goes down nose first and does not stop........they are pretty dependable though. I have learned go German and get it over it on luxury cars.

Wife has an 05 CTS. It has the 3.6L V6.... 255hp rear-wheel drive. It is pretty sporty and still gets 25mpg. We haven't had any problems with it. Bought it new and now has 40k on it.

CTS-V is a cool car, unfortunately it didn't sell well because Cadillac people did not like the manual trans :Whatever:
