Back from Mooresville and the Arca shops of Andy Belmont to pick up the racecar........15hr drive nonstop one way down I79 through Pittsburg and rained the whole way down, great shop andy was a super nice guy.......has like 7 full time employees......the cars are 2 yr old Roush.....its the ex Ken Schreader shops........

great shop....4 buildings......I counted 28 race cars......some of the cars pictured were in the movies "Dale" and "Telledega
Nights".....Andy and his guys made them all up from scratch for the movies......some spare chassis ready to go in pic 1.....

other buildings.......at the far left of pic 1 is the chassis dyno, its outside.......Andy straps the race cars down with their open pipes and makes repeated pulls to 8500 - 9000 rpm.......the nieghbours houses are about a 1/4 mi away......nobody says anything!!!......only in NC!!

full body shop and two downdraft paint booths.......somebodys Late Model......

my car......a little rusty but that will clean up with the bead blaster.......roof flaps, the Willwood 6 piston calipers up front, sweet 13:1 box

the worlds most badazz exhaust system or what???.......the rad that came with it.....all for now

THAT looks like a *****en project. I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

thanks Brian......by the looks of things Im going to use alot more of the racecar than I originally thought......i think I'll end up welding the body directly to the Cup chassis......not a body on frame set up like the original chevelle......being the racecar is a 2000 model the floors and trunk pans are in great shape unlike the Chevelle :D
