Ok after a few PMs from the pic in the Ferrari thread an update. Click on the vids. In the first one back in June I got the thing running. The engine is pickled so it smokes a bit. It had only been running for about 60sec at this point. When I let the clutch out going forward I wasnt 100% sure what was going to happen lol...Crank your volume way up its REALLY LOUD!!

The second one is last week its shakey but it is what it is. I was fitting the car to the trailer and needed a flat piece of ground as my driveway has none. Its down 1.25" in the right rear as I was playing with the jack bolts checking tire clearance got side tracked and didnt bring it back up enough.

Its a road race track day car. You know against Vettes, Porsches Ferrari's etc. It wieghs about 3000lbs and makes 700hp

After building for 4yrs the Nascar Chevelle leaves my property for the first time and goes to its first car show Oshawa Autofest something like 1200 cars. No awards but it attracted A LOT of attention. It was really a great couple of days. Couple of offers to buy it. Most common question was "What are you going to do with it?'' When they heard it has 700hp it was "Can we hear it run?" When I explained it is a road race track day car they pretty much all understood.

Couple of more pics from the show. My "spokes model" Susi knows a lot about the car. As soon as guys found that out they no longer were interested in talking with me. It was funny

I saw this on CL this morning:

And my three immediate thoughts:

1) Where can I get a roundy-round chassis?
2) Will PMT build one for me too?
3) Need new sawzall blades to cut down all local speed limit signs.
