That kind of stuff happens everyday, this was just caught on video. That guy had no business hooking up an 8K truck (empty) onto a 5K trailer and pulling it with a SRW pickup truck and running 50 MPH down the highway over a bridge (probably a little windy out there on the span).

A few months back someone lost a 4X6 utility trailer in Maryland and 2 or 3 people got killed in the pile up that ensued on a bridge. Hopefully he learned his lesson and will pay for a tow next time he needs a box truck moved.

Way back into the early 80's there was a trucking company that was called Montfort of Colorado. They hauled swinging beef and known to have the fastest trucks on the interstate. A nickname for the left lane was called the "montfort lane". There was a good handfull of drivers that actually did that on purpose with 18 wheelers. Most spectacular thing I ever saw!

I was with a guy that was towing his race car to the track and the car trailer started swaying real bad....we both thought it was gonna jack knife us on the road.......he was in the middle lane....when the trailer swayed to the left, he swearved the truck with it into the left lane and rammed the trailer up against the divider to stop it all....luckly the only thing damaged was a trailer fender.....but we were both white as sheets for a few minutes after!

Scarry ain't it? I turned a semi on the side in Jackson,MS in Nov '86 and slid 388'. Happened so damn quick but in slow motion.

Its funny how things happen in slow motion when your the one involved eh??? I can just about recall every detail during any one of my many crashes back in my dirt bike and jetskii days! One in particular, i hit a rut and locked up the front tire on my 250 and went over the bars....i can distinctly remember details of the ground as i was flying over it....remember seeing my buddies behind me (upside down) as i was flipping over....and thinking to myself..."awe crap...this is gonna hurt".....landing on my head. My buddy said it happened so fast he didnt even react till it was over.....said he thought i was dead from the way i landed on my head  then proceeded to laugh his a$$ off when i got up and stumbled back and fell over again :D
