Satellite Tracking of Vehicles
I have several company trucks and vans. Looking for some ideas on what other people are using.
Thanks, Quinlan |
A company I worked with in the past added GPS tracking to its 60 trucks to keep an eye on the fleet. Gas consumption/ mileage dropped by 25% in the first month and they saved 7K in overtime in the first week. Both were due to employees doing personal errands/ side jobs on the company clock while driving the company trucks. They never saw this hidden benefit until after the installation.

What size fleet? I'm thinking about the GPS enabled phones.

Sprint has a system with comet tracker. I had demo'ed the system but was not compatable with our system. It really worked well and was raily inexpensive.
