Default Where should I seperate trans from transfer case?

I'm selling the trans to one person and transfer case to another. I know the bellhousing/main trans body, then there's a section which looks like it has the rear mount. Then the main transfer case section, followed by the tailhousing.

Is the transfer case going to be easy to seperate from the section with the trans mount? Am I in for any nasty surprises when it comes to getting these pieces apart? FWIW, it's a 4L65E/AWD setup from an '04 Silverado SS.

No surprises. Just seperate the transfer case from the extension housing (mount).

If there is an OSS in the intermediate housing, be sure not to damage it. Other than that, not too bad to do.
