super singles?

Is anyone running super singles on there dually and can it be done? Can you run super singles on the back and run a standard width tire in the front with matching diameter? My friend wants to run 22.5s on his dodge dually but he asked about the super singles and if it could be done.Any info?

Anyone have Reds phone number in Miami?? Website

Carboy, I didnt see the singles though? do you have to use adapters on the singles?

The pic I posted was from that gallery. U still have to use the adapter, it's a 10 bolt rim.

Saw a F350 single wheel yesterday running around with the super single on the back and a normal size one on the front. that one looked weird...the chevy up there doesn't look bad..but it is a dual wheel bed..

Now that is a cool use for the Super Singles!

How do they work out on semis? I always thought you needed the side walls to support the weight? Are they only run on lighter duty trucks? But, I think Iremember seeing them on some Dump trailers. I know they run the legal limits 78-80k +.

If your not worried about fuel mileage you can put them on a dually. Just the rotateing mass and the rolling resistance will kill the performance and mileage. On a class 8 truck they improve rolling resistance and ussually improve mileage by about 4 thenths over dauls. Brian
