Default Kenwood DDX6019 with ipod

I have this head unit in my truck. It's generally excellent but I am a little dissatisfied with the Ipod display. It will show my playlists but not individual songs/artists. I was wondering if any of you stereo gurus know if Kenwood has a software update to bring the display feature "up to date"?

USB thumb drive

We just replaced the head unit in both the Excursion and the F-350 with a Kenwood touch screen with nav and DVD. They are really sweet but the best part is the USB port. I bought an 8 gig drive at Circuit City on sale for $74.00 and have over 200 CD's loaded on it with room left and you just plug it in and go.

It shows the name of the album, the artist and the song title and you can control it VERY easy.

I gave my iPod away!

Man, I the stereo is not even a year old and I think I paid close to $700 for it. I'd hate to replace it already.
