I too have a edge box in my 3126 set to "2". I tried "4" and it had tons of power but I was seeing EGTs higher than I was comfortable with when pulling my 50' race rig up long steep hills.

Had my 3126 cat motor at mustang yesterday and they said it was rated at 300hp and 860ft lb and at the dealer they won't turn it up anymore than that, but on here I have heard of edge programmers but I have been unable to find one, anyone know where I can get one?

There is a company here that sells its Kenworth W900L Trucks with C15s every couple years with low miles and perfectly maintained. It would be cheaper and more reliable to buy a truck around the motor than just the motor. These trucks look like show trucks and their mechanic is a neat freak. Medium duties don't do well with 15 Liter Diesels.

Did they say why? They have an upgrade to 330/960.

I just had to replace the high pressure oil line on the drivers side of the motor, leads from the pump to the head. If anyone needs to do this send me a message and I will send you the "tool" I had to make to get he pressure switch out. You need to grind a wrench down to get it out. The old line is rubber and CAT makes a new retrofit kit that makes it a hard line.
