If you want a Ford my buddy who owns the dealership by me is going 1.5% into the 3% holdback on what he has on the lot. Jeff

Hey Jass, Can you post a link to your buddies dealership. I'm in the market for a 08 F350 SRW, totalled my 07 a few months ago.

I'm trying to figure out if right now is the time to buy or if the incentives are going to get better?
Thanks,
Duke

Whoever you call make sure you tell them you are looking for a dually not a dulley.

(not being a smart ass just letting you know how to spell it in case you are searching on EBAY or CL or anything else)

sorry I didnt get back to you earlier...Just came from there, no duallys on the lot. Just 2 F250...He can get one from another dealer. What he mentioned though was on Thursday, Ford will be announcing Employee pricing which is better than what's out there presently. The dealership is Henderson Ford, and the Gen.Mng. is Kirk Casey and his direct cell is 228-424-3387 or the dealership number is 228-467-9005.
If it is a GM your looking for he has an outlet for that as well, just more of a discount on the Ford. Good Luck, I hope you find what you're looking for. Jeff

Thanks Jeff, Since I don't need the truck till spring, I may wait to see how much more attractive the incentives get before I pull the trigger.

i was just told today my truck would cost me another 3-4k after the employee pricing goes into effect and aparantly the $7k rebate goes away???

Does anybody have any info on this to confirm. I'm actually going down in the morning to sign and if it will save me some cheese I can wait another day!

Would you consider a loaded Dodge Laramie pkg? Cummins is the best motor hands down.

mcraymond3 11-19-2008 09:21 PM

basically the same deal if you buy at invoice. In our market, the 7,000 rebate goes to 5,000 but you buy at employee price. Still a good deal!

Strip Poker 388 11-19-2008 09:42 PM

Can ya get into there holdback also?

I spoke with a dealer in Atlanta that was willing to go $16K off a MSRP of $52,720. A little over 30% off MSRP.

That was about the best I have seen to date. If anyone has heard of anything better, let me know.

depends on the dealership and the customer..I honestly hate this sh#t..I just want the economy to start rolling again..so we all can make a living..If it's not house's, it's cars, banks, resturants we are all in a world of sh#t. Sorry for the negativity guys.

Ask for a copy invoice, look at thee extra fee's. try atleast 1% off that.

I would think that any dealer could make the window sticker :eek:what ever they wanted. they might even beable to make ther on invoices?

Last year had a buddy shoping Hummers, my dealer said if he had one he would be dumping it at invoice minus the 3% hold back

Build the truck you want, and then you can locate it on that website. It works great.

Stay away from new FORDS unless you own a oil well for fuel.

Bottomfeeder 12-01-2008 07:44 AM

Im right at 11mpg with mine,,,

hammer01 12-01-2008 09:15 AM

My buddy owns a Chevy dealership just south of Chicago and was hunting for a dually for an OSO buddy and he had an 08 crew cab loaded up Duramax 3500 4x4 that stickered for between 53K and 54k and he quoted us around $40k real money. If this helps anyone, pm me and I will forward you their info. Good luck shopping. Hammer

pookie 12-01-2008 03:56 PM

I have an f450 which pulls my 47 Fountain great. Without towing I'm just over 12 mpg. If I go over 70, however, it drinks fuel (4.88 rearend).

Top Ven 12-01-2008 06:40 PM

My Brother and I have 2 38 ft Top Guns, we tow each with aDually, his with a 03 GMC mine with a 07 F 350 both Diesel both 4x4 both loaded and both painted same as the boats, the GMC has more power and better Fuel mileage , but i love my Ford it rides better, and the interior is much more comfortable, we tow from NJ to Fla 2 x a year,
