Ordered my new trailer!!!

had to get something to tow my new 26 checkmate. so i did some searching, i ended up with an all alum bunk style load rite, 15" mag wheels, led lights, guids, disc brakes ect etc etc.
cant wait to get it. need to drop off the cash today.

If you can upgrade to 16" wheels/tires do so.

1. You can find 16" tires almost anywhere in an emergency.
2. 16" tires you can find in higher weight rating than 15".
3. 16" tires means more tire and more revolutions per mile which means the tires will run cooler.
4. 16" tires gets your trailer higher off the ground which is better for steep ramps.
5. 16" tires means you can run LT truck tires which many recommend nowadays over ST (special trailer) tires. I recommend the Firestone Trans Force tire.

DON'T SKIMP THE TRAILER!

Go with the 16" if you can swing it.

How much does a 26 checkmate weigh? You guys gonna tell him he should've gone with a triple axle too? :D

Congrats on the trailer purchase. Other than the discs and pads, spray every non-AL & non-stainless piece with a corrosion blocker. The effort you make on that will keep it looking good for years.

Congratulations on the new trailer, it's always fun to order a new one.

it came in today, i picked it up already. came in very fast. i will double check, i got the upgraded wheel package but i will have to see if its 16's or not. it looks real nice tho, dimond plate fenders etc. i like it. im going to polish and clean it up tomorrow, and corrosion block everything. also going to take the stupid crap wire connectors apart and solder and shrink wrap everything.
i will try to get pics tomorrow.
it should be fine for me as i might travle 20 miles with the boat every 2-4 weeks. and maybe once or twice trailer to a poker run within 100 miles of me. i keep the boat in the water for 2-4 weeks at a time in my slip, so the trailer doesnt need to be to over kill. after seeing the one i got, i probably could have got away with allot less. lol, but it looks good
