the deal is if you run drum brakes it works fine but if your running disk's then it wont read right.

Why would you have electric over hydraulic on a travel trailer.

First of all why not? its a 38' fifth wheel trailer they are best thing since sliced bread. So much better control than strait electric trailer breaks. My 09 works with my Breakrite system just fine too.

I have disks on both of my trailers and it reads them just fine. Not trying to cause a problem but that statement just isnt correct. I have also had an issue with a trucklite brand LED light having a short in it that caused my Breakrite system to run when the running lights or blinker were on.

I just never heard of any kind of surge brakes on an rv. Guess it's a good idea. I love the electric over hydraulic on boat trailers. Ford tells you their controller won't work with all systems especially eoh.

Just going off what I was told when I called breakrite and my problems with the ford controller. Really dont care the why just want it to work right spend 15 thousand on a trailer and think it would work with the truck or at least have a easy fix with out having to add another controller

is your trailer a goose neck or a bumper hitch? Just a stupid thought but I wonder if you dont have a ground problem to the truck? I would hate to have the problem your having. It sounds like a ground issue to me from your trailer to your truck.
