And a non stop Cummins commercial. :party-smiley-004:
Go to posts 56-57; http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/te...erunner-4.html There's no doubt the Cummins is the best light-medium duty diesel engine out there. We'll see about the new 6.7 Ford, it sounds promising but it will still be a V8. |

Funny...my boat had a 540ci Ford motor. The only problem I ever had with it was the 1050 Dominator.

That semi was barely stuck. If that group of guys got behind it and pushed they more than likely could have got it out. Here is my point. If it was pulling a huge amount of weight the crappy 8-10K pound factory hitch would have snapped off. If the factory hitch did not hit the ground first, the junk Dodge tranny would have... Jeff

Here's a 1/2 ton Avalanche (w/ 5.3L gas V8) pulling a semi out of pretty nasty snow. It's all about knowing what you are doing and traction. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4npjBkWr0I |

Maybe you're not so bad after all. :drink:

There was a 3 point boat called Spirit of America that crashed during a run for the world water speed record in 1955 I believe. Killed the driver. :( No one has used a 3 point hull for that record since then. That hull was very unforgiving on reentry as you can guess from the transom pic. The Bladerunners are much better I'm sure. 3) Bravo1 drive. |

It can't be Brian, that must be a photo shop job I tell you. :party-smiley-004: It is all about gearing. I put mine in 4wd low and if you have the weight in your truck you are going to pull out the load if your drive shafts don't break. That is why you get on the gas very slowly.
Did you dig your boat out and run it this year? |
Cat ... what you think buddy ... http://www.dodge.com/en/2010/ram_heavy_duty/
nice looking, all new sheet metal, new interior, just praying they updated the tranny... also waiting for the new 6.7 Ford to arrive before I make my decision. The 08 Duramax and Powerstroke will stay for another year. |

The 08 Duramax and Powerstroke will stay for another year. It's either the 6 speed Getrag(G56) transmission or the 6 speed Orion 68RFE. My truck has the G56 so I can't comment on the Orion. I've been on www.cumminsforum.com and can't find any threads about 68RFE problems. In fact most of the guys are saying get the auto even if you're towing heavy. |
