Advice on switching from roller to bunk trailer?

I have a 23.5 foot boat my trailer now is a roller but I am going to switch it to a bunk trailer. How many bunks should I have? Should they be made adjustable? Any other input would be great

Any advice where they should be located exactly

Depends on the trailer. Look through the classfied ads to see examples.

Most of the bolt together trailers have two large bunks standing up on end that go under your main chines.

I suggest a pair of flat 2x6s that rest around the keel inbetween the big bunks, and another pair of flat 2x6s at the front of the trailer which rest around the forward portion of the keel and guide you straight on the trailer.

Anyone else have any opinions on the bunks how many there should be and what type? Remember it is only a 23.5 footer

I just replace my bunks last spring and they were 2X6`s. My boat has a stepped hull. So it had 8 risers.

My old boat was a 21'. That trailer had 2X6`s also and set up just like Sydwayz said.
