Going to paint my trailer. Thinking of going yellow. is there any paint that is better that I should use?

Just getting my boat finished up and plan on painting the trailer in April. I'd like to paint to match the truck. I have some rust to clean off and prime. After that I wondering the best way to prep the existing painted areas.....
