Default rebuilding trailer

I have a tandem axle trailer for my 272 baja and I just had a question just to make sure everything is going back correctly. i took out the old two axles, springs, calipers everything to redo the trailer as it was really corroded. As Im putting my beams on the side of the trailer that hold the springs and axels and have the latches on them ( I don't know what that aluminum long plate is that has the 3 latches welded on them). I have 4 2k pound axles each. As I put them together the latches are welded 29.5 inches from each other which is correct, but when I put the springs the little triangle that goes in the middle then the other springs everythign fits but the springs don't look straight across, they are slanted downwards and I think it's because I haven't put both axles on yet and after I install both axles and all 4 tires the springs will align themselves correct? Or are all the springs supposed to align perfectly straight right now without the axles?
