it is a 2007 model bought new in 2009. havent checked on the longbed yet. that sounds like it might be interesting. the mileage has been in the twenties out on the highway. around town i am seeing about 16 to 17 but i have a very heavy foot when comming from a stop. i dont speed much i just like getting to the speed limit quickly i am very happy with it so far.

I have a 2006 quad cab dually and the manual trans. It's an SLT work truck power driver's seat and satellite radio. I have seen 27mpg but normally I get 21-22 hwy. I like the truck but I wish I could trade for the new Laramie dually. Great amenities and IMO the best looking dually on the market.

I would say you're very lucky, or maybe you didn't notice when it did...

If you have a 30 gallon tank @ 27 MPG you would have over an 800 mile range and be in the Guiness book of World Records!

exactly.... the 6.7 Ford with 3.55 gears, 73-74mph light on the throttle I am averaging 20.2-20.8... on the lie-o-meter.. hand calculated is approx. .4 less... still good though..and not broke in yet

Even with real world calc, 21-22mpg is great for a 7500lb truck.

I have towed my 11k trailer ... 13.9mpg but was heavy on throttle to feel the torque..very pleased..actually I really enjoy driving this truck. It has a different front end, soft, but easily guided than any 1 ton Ive driven. The new 6" running boards are also a great addition...and the navigation and dash works better than before...well laid out with a better feel of materials..
