http://readylift.com/c-101-ford-f350...ly-25f10r.aspx Not sure what gear ratio you have but the additional height in the tires will make a noticeable change. I ordered mine with 3.73 and wish I would have gotten the 4.10. I also added an air lift system in the rear to keep it level while towing. Work great. I pull a 42' Nordic. I got the 3.55 gears vs the 3.73's this time....but the hp is 390 vs 350 and 735tq vs 650...truck is very quick and Im averaging city/hwy just under 19mpg I apprieciate all the info guys.. |

Thanks Juicy..that helps I just read a bunch of reviews...
Bondo..man that rig of yours looks good... I just want to raise the front about 2" so that they will be exact..and possible not put such a large tire in fear of trying to keep them balanced.. Let me ask you this..do you rotate a lot..and how is the road noise and most important Im anal..everyone knows that..no comments please:lolhit:....how is the vibration in the cab.. like stock, slightly more on the wheel, slightly overall...thanks for the help...Ill be doing much hwy driving with this truck hauling 12' wide loads.. 33 Ameracats.. 10500lbs..and just dont need any more aggrevation..thanks for your help..Jeff Jassman, Sorry for the late response, closed for vacation and on the boat for 8 days. The 2" leveling kit is the way to go. I have zero problems with keeping them balanced, and absolutely no road or cab noise. I do rotate fairly often (6000-7000 miles) but not out of neccesity, but out of obsessive compulsive truck and boat care syndrome.:lolhit: As far as towing,I tow my 10,500 lb. Fastech every weekend without any sway or any other problems whatsoever. 70. mph..no problem. In fact I think the truck rides better than stock with a little bit more sidewall. What I really like is the fact that the tires don't stick out pass the body like so many that I see..Good luck.. Jeff One more thing, when you buy the 2"kit,make sure you get one of the better kits with a new track bar bracket. If not the front end will get shifted to one side due to the track bar not being long enough. Real easy, about 10 bolts for the whole install, and about 1 1/2 hours. |
